The entire Hayes family is doing the Loma Linda Possaibilities triathlon this coming Sunday, April 29th. This will be Addy's first kids triathlon. She will have her siblings along side her to help out. We can't wait!
The day we found out Addy had Angelman Syndrome, there was no promising therapeutic out there. We were heartbroken and just prayed that this couldn't be it... life for her can't be like they said. Doctors said this is what you can expect, and it wasn't much. BUT she's beaten the odds...she is able to run, swim, ski, write her own name and now doing a triathlon! Hope and never giving up has been our family's motto. And it's so hard to put into words what science has already, things ARE HAPPENING and with more funds, I'm telling you, it will be life changing for Addy and for our family.....
FAST researchers know exactly what causes AS and have already cured it in the laboratory. Today, there are FIVE therapy strategies are in development to treat Angelman syndrome. Your donation to my page helps fund all of them. Please help me support this critical research by clicking the “Give Now” button and donating whatever you can. Every single dollar counts and is appreciated! The more people that know about FAST, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your contacts. Since AS is a rare disorder, we truly rely on the support of friends and family members to fund this groundbreaking research. Thank you in advance for your generosity and love all these years. And a big thank you to our family who has supported us with such love!
